So, I have these old steel and tinned square fruit cake tins (English Christmas cake). I needed one more this size to make three identical cakes. While the "gray" finish is nothing to behold, it worked beautifully. The cake was done at the same time as the two in the older pan with similar characteristics. I have been looking for 5" square pan for a couple of years,. This fit the bill perfectly and cooked beautifully. I would recommend.

i bought three of these for my mother for mothers day for bread making. they are well made, nice, thick sided pans. not cheap, crappy aluminum pans. you can definitely tell these are meant for more than at home use

I got lured in by the name and the promise of sharp edges and corners. The corners are rounded! I will be returning this and getting Magic Line. They should change the description. I am sure if I was making a meatloaf instead of a cake it would is ok. I can go to Walmart and spend 1/8 of the money for a meatloaf pan.
